LOST: Episode 616 " What They Died For"
Best Snort-Out-Loud Moment of the Show:
Ben: It's C-4 Richard. I put some thought into hiding it.
Miles: Let me guess - cookie jar?
Ben: Don't be ridiculous. It's in my secret room behind the bookcase.
GREAT DELIVERY! EXCELLENT WRITING!
SNORT! GUFFAW! CHORTLE! SLAP-MY-KNEES FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In case it's not been said elsewhere: Michael Emerson is a MASTER THESPIAN. Thank you for the hours of enjoyment you have brought me as Ben Linus.
Wouldn't it be great if Michael Emerson and Terry O'Quinn (another MASTER THESPIAN) performed The Odd Couple by Neil Simon on Broadway? I'd be on a plane to New York in a heartbeat. Think it over gentlemen.
Other LOST Finale notes:
- I'm voting for Juliet to be David's mother.
- After watching episode 615 "Across the Sea" I was seriously hoping that the extra half hour Darlton negotiated for the finale would include an exhaustive PowerPoint presentation by Dr. Pierre Chang. Said PP would of course, explain any and all mysteries surrounding the island and detail all connections between characters/timelines. Just so you know I'm over that now.
- To fill the gaping wound left by the end of LOST, I just went out and re-purchased the first of the Hyperion series by Dan Simmons. Read the first two (Hyperion and Fall of Hyperion) well over 15 years ago and they consumed my life, darling. Turns out Mr. Simmons has written TWO MORE in the series. How lucky can you get?
Always loving LOST,
